Title: Food Service Worker
Reports to: Director/Assistant Director of Food Services
General Statement of Duties Include: Performed routine, general service tasks in kitchen, dining rooms, cafeteria, dish room, and patient/resident areas.

Maintains friendly, efficient spirit of service toward residents, co-workers, and families.
- Ensures accurate service to residents.
- Has responsibility for knowledge of menus.
- Sets up assigned station in work areas.
- Performs the following tasks as required: brews coffee, fills beverages, sets up hot and cold food areas.
- Stocks condiments, paper and china supplies.
- Prepares, portions, assembles, and labels resident food items.
Possesses knowledge of resident's dietary restrictions.
Serves meals to Residents as directed.
Works in kitchen by sorting silverware and restocking food and supplies.
- Cleans tables, counters, and various types of kitchen equipment. Assists with special functions.
- Removes trash from department and transports to disposal area.
- Adheres to all sanitation procedures.
- Adheres to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe environment by complying with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintains a professional atmosphere while working.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
- Attends meetings and in-services as required.
- Assumes responsibility for regular attendance.
- Being on time for shift and in uniform.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Serve safe certification preferred
- Knowledge of production aspects of food service
