Summary:The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen utensils, dishes, and cookware. This includes washing, soaking, scouring, rinsing, and drying items either by hand or using a dishwasher. The role also involves sorting and storing materials in their proper locations, operating and cleaning the dish machine and sinks, and ensuring all areas are tidy and well-maintained.
This is a full time day shift position
Essential Job Functions:- Washes, soaks, scours, rinses, and dries soiled pots and pans, utensils, serving bowls, glasses, silverware, etc., using dishwasher or by hand; sort and store materials in proper location.
- Removes, stacks, stores clean dishes in proper areas.
- Operates, drains, cleans, and otherwise prepares dish machine and sinks for use.
- Cleans, sweeps, and mopsassigned areas such as floors in dish room following daily and weekly periodic cleaning schedules.
- Collects, removes, and sorts trash and recycling.
- Reports any equipment or facility damage/malfunction to the manager and or maintenance.
- Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
