Description:

Le Sueur-Henderson Public Schools is seeking to hire a Food Service lead cook at LS-H Elementary. Breakfast and lunch will be served every student-school day; during the summer, our school district participates in summer programs, where breakfast and lunch are served.

Job Summary:

• Set-up
• Prep-work
• Cleaning
• Serving food
• Training of new staff
• Checking inventory
• Back-up to the Food Service Director
• Ordering Food Supply
• Communicate with vendors
• Make sure school sites are properly staffed on a daily basis
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications:

• No degree is required.
• Experience is not required, but it is preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Position functions in a workplace that has a high level of noise times.
• Position works in a busy kitchen condition with very warm temperatures at times.
• Position will require to work approximately 37.5 hours per week.
