The Food Service Chef plays a vital role in overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations. This position leads a dedicated team to ensure the successful execution of all fresh food programs while adhering to corporate and regulatory standards. The Chef works in collaboration with the Sous Chef to train Customer Service Associates, ensuring that all team members provide an outstanding customer experience. Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and appealing food service environment is paramount for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver an exceptional shopping experience for all customers by addressing inquiries and feedback promptly.
  • Execute food service programs continuously, focusing on proper ordering, production planning, handling, and presentation.
  • Meet or exceed food service and beverage profitability goals set by corporate standards.
  • Implement effective food service strategies while ensuring compliance with established planograms.
  • Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and maintain food service equipment and facilities.
  • Analyze trends in food service performance; develop and execute plans to enhance profitability and capitalize on strengths.
  • Serve as an expert resource on food service marketing strategies, ensuring all associates are informed.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance management to food service customer service associates.
  • Conduct hands-on training for store staff, aligning with corporate training objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, security, quality, and operational policies at all times.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to work well in both independent and team settings.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision.

  • Understanding of financial aspects of the store and their business implications.
  • Physical requirements include standing and walking for extended periods, handling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of utilizing store technology proficiently.

Qualifications:
