Role Overview Sodexo is currently seeking a Food Production Manager - 3 to join our Campus Services team at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, LA. The Production Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for inventory, ordering, and day-to-day oversight of all culinary operations at the account. Some responsibilities include: Food Production Management Ordering Inventory Plate Cost Management Recipe Compliance Managing Staff The successful candidate will: + Have 3-5 years operational management experience in a high-volume food service dining environment. + Be a people person with a strong focus on maintaining positive client relations ; a solid manager/leader who is perceptive and has attention to details that make a difference - quality and presentation of food. + Be SERVICE focused- including providing excellent customer service in a welcoming dining environment. + Be proficient in use of online Food Management Systems for menu/recipe planning, ordering and inventory; + Demonstrate proven financial acumen/success: Food costs/ labor costs, budgets.
