Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will oversee the operations of two restaurants, one restaurant/bar, a pub, an afternoon tea lounge, and room service. Your role is key in ensuring the delivery of the brand promise while providing exceptional guest service across all outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example, ensuring all colleagues uphold the brand promise and deliver outstanding guest service.
- Maximize colleague productivity through multi-skilling, multitasking, and flexible scheduling, balancing business goals with a healthy work-life balance.
- Manage venue operations focusing on profitability while aligning with the brand's core values and guest expectations.
- Analyze business performance strategically, collaborating with Heads of Department for accurate monthly forecasting.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating local, national, and international market dynamics, as well as competitor and vendor insights, to keep operations competitive and innovative.
- Drive marketing opportunities by working closely with the Marketing Department and/or external agencies to maximize exposure via social, digital, and PR channels.
- Lead and nurture a high-performing team through continuous feedback, tailored training, and a supportive environment.
- Collaborate with HR to recruit and develop a motivated, engaged team that embodies the hotel's values and vision.
