Upon being hired for this position, you will enter a Probationary status, working up to 40 hours per week. Upon completion of the probationary period, you could become benefit eligible. The Food & Beverage Concession/ Beverage Cart Attendant provides service to golfers while they are on the golf course to exceed expectations.
Essential Duties: - Provides service to golfers while they are on the golf course to exceed expectations.
- Answers questions that the guests may have about the golf courses or facilities.
- Sells sandwiches and drinks to golfers.
- Maintains proper stock levels on refreshment cart.
Requirements: - Seasonalposition typically working through December; and limited schedule January and February.
- Final candidates are to present a valid driver's license which is to be no older than 30 days, issued by the same state as the driver's license. New residents must obtain a Virginia driver's license within 30 days.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age according to A.B.C. 4.1-307
- Previous bartender experience would be helpful
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Golf knowledge is helpful
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule (Schedule could start as early as 6 a.m. and end as late as 9 p.m.);
- Must be available to work all Holidays and weekends
- Ability to work outdoors; in all kinds of weather.
- Excellent verbal communications skills.
- Excellent public contact skills.
- Ability to work independently in a stressful situation. Ability to serve guests in a quick manner
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Physical requirements include but are not limited to: (1) bending; (2) lifting; (3) ability to transport 50 pounds
