Overview: Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch seeks a motivated and compassionate Food Assistant to join our team. This individual will assist with meal preparation and service for guests, campers, and staff while also providing additional support for our hospitality services, ensuring an exceptional experience for all who visit. Key Responsibilities:Food Assistance: - Assist with meal preparation, cooking, and food service for group meals.
- Help ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Set up, serve, and clean up after meals.
- Assist in meal planning and inventory management of food supplies.
- Support dietary accommodations and special meal requests as needed.
Hospitality Support: - Assist in preparing guest areas, including dining rooms, kitchens, and meeting spaces for various events and activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to needs and ensuring a positive experience.
- Help set up and maintain hospitality services for retreats, camps, and events.
- Work with the hospitality team to organize and prepare snacks, beverages, and other service items.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure guest areas are clean, welcoming, and well-maintained.
Additional Duties: - Assist with other tasks as directed by the Food Service Lead or Hospitality Director.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse team to meet the needs of our guests and ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to improve service quality and teamwork.

Requirements- Experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Compassionate, positive attitude and a willingness to serve others.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.
