Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at The Westin Washington, D.C. City Center. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service and quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced hospitality professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of food and beverage staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

Ensure that all food and beverage outlets are clean, well-maintained, and meet quality and safety standards

Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue in food and beverage outlets

Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to implement promotions

Ensure that all food and beverage staff are trained and knowledgeable about menus, ingredients, and preparation methods
-
Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Participate in inventory management and cost control initiatives to minimize waste and optimize profitability

Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, including food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a food and beverage supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or resort environment

Proven experience in managing and supervising a team

Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and inventory management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with point-of-sale systems

Certification in food safety and sanitation, such as ServSafe, is an asset
