Job Overview

The Food and Beverage Operations Manager (FBOM) plays a crucial role in overseeing all elements of our food service and beverage operations. This exciting position requires leading the food service team to ensure our fresh food programs are executed efficiently while adhering to corporate and regulatory standards. The FBOM works closely with the General Manager to support daily store operations and leads training initiatives for Customer Service Associates. Your leadership will help maintain a safe, enjoyable food service environment, guaranteeing that our customers enjoy an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance the shopping experience for all customers, addressing inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Oversee 24/7 execution of food service programs, including ordering, production planning, product handling, and display.
  • Achieve food service and beverage performance and profitability goals as defined by corporate objectives.
  • Ensure food service efficiencies through effective use of planograms.
  • Manage inventory and ordering, while ensuring the maintenance of food service equipment and facilities.
  • Analyze food service results and trends, developing action plans to improve profitability.
  • Become an expert on food service marketing initiatives and educate the team accordingly.
  • Lead training, coaching, and performance management for food service associates, fostering a motivating environment.
  • Implement safety, security, quality, and operational policies effectively.
  • Occasionally manage shifts, including deposit preparation and fuel operations if applicable.

  • Willingness to learn and master the store's technology.
Basic Eligibility Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proven leadership experience, preferably within food service environments.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays based on business needs.
  • Availability for 35 - 40 hours per week.
  • Experience in staff training, performance management, and effective scheduling.
  • Sound knowledge of all aspects of store operations, especially foodservice.
  • Experience in implementing change successfully and achieving measurable results.
  • Serve Safe Certification.
  • Demonstrated skills in customer service, relationship building, and effective communication.
