What will I be doing? As a Food and Beverage Manager for Hilton, you wouldbe responsible forassistingin the direction and organization of activities and services of all hotel food and beverage outlets (restaurant, room service, etc.) and banquet operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you wouldbe responsible forperforming the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments (restaurant and banquets) tomaintainthehigh standardsof food and beverage quality,serviceand marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
- Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage departments to meet the daily needs of the operation.
- Implements effective controls of food,beverageand labor costs.
- Ensures compliance with health, safety,sanitationand alcohol awareness standards.
- Helpsto ensurehigh standardsof food and beverage quality,serviceand marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels,schedulesand evaluates staff.
- Coordinate andensurethe needs of the Catering department with the managers of interrelated departments.
- Organize and orchestrate anylast-minutechanges to functions.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
