Job Title: Food & Beverage Manager
Location: The Dominion Country Club
Job Summary:
The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee the entire food and beverage operations within the country club, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests. This role includes managing staff, optimizing service efficiency, developing menu concepts, and maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in F&B management, a passion for hospitality, and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Management and Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise F&B staff, ensuring they deliver exceptional service.
- Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
2. Operations Supervision:
- Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering, storage, and utilization of food and beverage supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
3. Menu Development:
- Collaborate with the executive chef to develop and update menu offerings, considering seasonal ingredients, trends, and member preferences.
- Organize tasting events and solicit feedback from members to enhance menu selections.
4. Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the annual F&B budget, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-control measures.
- Analyze financial reports and make recommendations for improving profitability and efficiency.
5. Member and Guest Relations:
- Foster positive relationships with members, addressing concerns and feedback promptly.
- Organize special events, promotions, and themed nights to enhance the member dining experience.
- Establish and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests.
6. Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing department to promote F&B events and specials through various channels.
- Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth and improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a country club or high-end restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and create a team-oriented culture.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu design and cost control.
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to build rapport with members and guests.
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and navigate busy environments.
