Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Kingston, NY. The Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager will oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food and beverage quality. Responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining efficient customer service. The F&B is also responsible for hiring and training new team members while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure service excellence
- Develop menus and food promotions that reflect seasonal, local ingredients
- Manage staffing needs, scheduling, and performance standards
- Train, coach, and mentor front-of-house team members
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and liquor laws
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and hospitality
- Collaborate with leadership on goals, costs, and planning
- Maintain a strong presence during service and guest interactions
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, F&B Manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong customer service and leadership skills
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge
- Strong knowledge of OpenTable, Toast, and restaurant management tools
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Strong financial and operational management skills
