Cherokee Town & Country Club is looking to hire a full-time Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to hire, train, and coach our staff to help maintain our status as a premier club. This hospitality management position comes with a competitive salary of $60,000-$62,000/year based on experience and the following great benefits and perks:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Food and Beverage Assistant Manager assists in directing the activities of our Country Club food and beverage staff. This includes hiring, training, and scheduling the team as well as making sure that the team works cohesively and ensuring that the restaurant runs smoothly. You will manage daily restaurant operations and prepare for special events while providing hands-on assistance and management to support and motivate your team.

YOUR LIFE AS A FOOD AND BEVERAGE ASSISTANT MANAGER

As our Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will leverage your exceptional leadership and organizational skills to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of all food and beverage activities across the club. You will oversee club operations through direct coordination with Department Heads, maintaining high standards of service, professionalism and member satisfaction. This position is key to promote a culture of teamwork, accountability and professionalism throughout the staff. Maintain order and enforce club rules, polices, and employee conduct standards at all times. You will also manage the full employment cycle for Food and Beverage employees, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management and terminations.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality/Restaurant Management, Business, or a similar field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 yr. experience as a Restaurant Manager.
  • Prior experience in a highly reputable private club or fin dining establishment is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with food and beverage operations.
