ABOUT CONOVER
Centrally located between Charlotte and the Blue Ridge Mountains, Conover offers affordable living, Lake Hickory recreation, and quick weekend access to mountain trails and big-city amenities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Manage urgent-care, primary-care, and minor emergency presentations for patients of all ages
Perform laceration repair, splinting, incision & drainage, basic ortho evaluations
Order and interpret X-rays and point-of-care testing
Document efficiently in Experity EMR and coordinate higher-level care when necessary
Collaborate with a board-certified supervising physician and lead support staff
QUALIFICATIONS
Current or eligible North Carolina NP or PA-C license
1+ year experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice
Current BLS & ACLS; willing to obtain DOT examiner certification within 6 weeks (company-paid)
Comfortable seeing 3-4 patients per hour and working independently
