The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for qualified candidates for an Administrative Assistant at Frances Meek Elementary School. The successful candidate must possess at least a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of five (5) years of secretarial and/or administrative experience or the equivalent. Other job requirements include:

Skills and Abilities
  • General understanding of educational administration rules, regulations, and ethics.
  • Strong and effective oral and written communication skills to include exceptional public relations and telephone etiquette.
  • Broad general knowledge of office procedures, office equipment, and administrative functions with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Microsoft Outlook, Google Docs).
  • Accurate typist with a minimum of 60 WPM.
  • Ability to manage several large projects at one time.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and trust.
