Job Title: Floral Customer Service Representative
Reports To: Wendy Morton, Floral Manager
Schedule: 2-3 days per week, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Note: Additional hours required during holiday weeks (Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving).
Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Floral Customer Service Representative to support our busy floral department. This role is essential in ensuring excellent customer communication, accurate order processing, and smooth daily operations-especially during peak holiday seasons, (Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer all incoming florist-related phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Accurately process all incoming floral orders for same-day fulfillment.
  • Confirm all daily floral deliveries and ensure timely updates.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to all florist emails.
  • Reconcile monthly floral statements for accounting accuracy.
  • Prepare and send outgoing invoices/statements at the start of each month.
  • Organize and file all floral department paperwork.
  • Work extended hours during major floral holidays to support increased order volume, (Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving).
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in customer service or administrative roles preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Comfortable working longer hours during peak floral seasons.
