Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Annual Salary: $89,217 - $123,565
Location: Barnwell, SC
Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Extended hours and weekends as needed
Travel: Up to 5%, with occasional short-notice travel
Key Responsibilities
- Hire, supervise, and support maintenance workers and contractors
- Organize and lead maintenance training programs
- Develop and manage shift schedules and assignments
- Assist in the creation and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures
- Order and manage tools, supplies, and equipment
- Respond to and resolve maintenance requests
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance projects
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure OSHA compliance
- Perform hands-on maintenance work as needed
- Evaluate worksites to determine maintenance needs
- Escalate issues and recommend solutions to management
- Promote adherence to company policies and maintenance best practices
- Demonstrate strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience required
- 5 years of management experience preferred
Education & Technical Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency in:
- Electrical control systems (including Servo Drives and PLCs)
- Complex mechanical drive systems
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Utilities (electrical, thermal oil, compressed air, HVAC)
- Project planning tools and CMMS systems
Work Environment & Expectations
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to interface with all levels of the organization, from hourly staff to executives
- Must be available to support a 24/7/365 operation
- Capable of managing technical teams, including engineers and technicians
- Demonstrates adaptability, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Open to new ideas and committed to implementing best practices
Language Requirements
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written) required
- German language skills are a plus
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and use hands/fingers
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of a manufacturing environment

- Internal: Technical employees, executive and department managers
- External: Equipment manufacturers, suppliers, parts vendors, and contractors
