The Sherwin-Williams Floorcovering Management & Sales Training Program is an exciting entry-level opportunity designed to fast-track you into a Floorcovering Facility Management or Sales Representative role within 18-24 months. Our promote-from-within philosophy means you can advance to positions such as Floorcovering Operations Manager or Field Technician upon completing our comprehensive 8-to-12 week training program. With a nationwide presence, Sherwin-Williams Floorcovering caters to professional clients across the United States, offering you career flexibility and growth potential.

This full-time position requires a typical commitment of 44 hours per week, which may include evenings and weekends.

Upon successfully completing the training program, candidates will transition into either a Floorcovering Operations Manager or Floorcovering Field Technician position.

Throughout the program, you will collaborate with facility leadership, sales teams, and regional management to oversee a multi-million-dollar business. You will gain valuable insights into facility operations, core products, installation techniques, customer service, and client development, which will be essential to your team's success. As you assist in growing the company's market share, you will engage with commercial consumers such as property management companies, builders, and renovation contractors. This experience will deepen your understanding of the organizational structures within key market segments and enhance your skills in effectively communicating with individuals responsible for procurement, community management, project management, maintenance, and property development.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship.
  • Must have a valid and unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Must possess a bachelor's degree by the start of this program.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • Experience in a leadership role is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in team-oriented environments.
  • Experience selling floorcovering products is a plus.
  • Familiarity with timekeeping and/or CRM systems.
  • Willingness to relocate for advancement opportunities.
  • Ability to communicate in more than one language is beneficial, especially Spanish.
