Floor Manager to lead and support our dealership sales team. This role is responsible for supervising daily sales operations on the showroom floor, managing the performance of the sales team, assisting with customer interactions, and ensuring that monthly sales goals and customer satisfaction objectives are consistently met. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: - Supervise, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and dealership-wide sales goals.
- Conduct daily team meetings to outline sales targets, performance expectations, and promotional incentives.
- Provide hands-on coaching and performance feedback to improve sales effectiveness and professionalism.
Customer Engagement: - Greet and assist customers in the showroom when needed to ensure a positive experience.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and negotiate deals to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- Step in to support sales consultants with closing every deal.
Sales Process Management: - Monitor and manage the flow of customers and sales traffic on the floor.
- Ensure adherence to the dealership's sales process, including accurate and timely completion of all paperwork.
- Track and report daily and weekly sales activity to upper management.
Collaboration: - Work closely with the Sales Managers and Finance & Insurance (F&I) department to streamline deal hand offs.
- Coordinate with marketing and BDC (Business Development Center) manager to maximize floor traffic and lead conversion.
- Assist with inventory management and vehicle display optimization.
An effective and successful floor sales manager must be able to manage the unexpected, have excellent customer service and organization skills, and be a self-motivated team player.
Qualifications: - Proven experience in automotive sales; management or team lead experience strongly preferred.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to inspire and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Knowledge of CRM software and dealership management systems is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
