Flight Controls Engineer

The Ranger Group, a leading US Engineering Solutions provider to companies across the Aerospace & Defense, Medical Device, Electronics and Industrial Manufacturing industries, is currently seeking a Senior Flight ControlsEngineer for a Contract role with a leading Aerospace manufacturer . This role is fully remote.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Flight Controls Engineerwith a solid background in Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC). In this role, you will be responsible for designing flight control laws from the ground up and supporting the development of advanced aircraft systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, reliable, and efficient flight control performance. Key Responsibilities:
•  Design and develop flight control laws from initial concept through implementation.
•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure GNC requirements are met and integrated effectively.
•  Utilize Simulink for modeling, simulation, and performance evaluation of flight control systems.
•  Conduct system-level analysis and testing to validate control strategies. Must-Have Qualifications/Skills:
•  5+ years of experience in GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Controls).
•  Proven track record of designing flight control laws from scratch.
•  Proficiency with Simulink for system modeling and simulation. Nice-to-Have Qualifications/Skills:
•  Familiarity with MATLAB.
