MAU is hiring a Flexo Press Operator for our client in Dallas, TX. As a Flexo Press Operator, you will set up and operate the printing press to produce labels and related products. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information:
- Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM to 2:30 PM
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three years of related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Minimum of one year of flexographic printing press experience preferred
General Requirements:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to read and interpret rulers, scales, and measurement devices
Essential Functions:
- Read job orders and load dies into the press
- Install and align print cylinders on the press
- Fill ink pans, screens, and pumps with specified inks
- Start the press and adjust speed and stock alignment
- Engage print cylinders and adjust impressions as needed
- Inspect approval strips for print imperfections and make adjustments
- Clean plates, print cylinders, and dies
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance
- Mix inks to maintain desired color and viscosity
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand; frequently required to walk
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
