Job Summary - Float nurse duties include assessing, planning, evaluating and implementing patient care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and organizational policy, administering medications and treatments, performing documentation and providing education to patients and families. Float Pool Nurses are assigned throughout the system and have varying schedules and unit assignments. The float nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.
Job Requirements - Education
- Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Preferred: Bachelor s Degree in Nursing

- Preferred: Previous nursing experience
