Position Summary

The Fleet Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operation of our fleet, working closely with Fleet Manager, ensuring that our vehicles and drivers are operating at optimum performance level.


Job Responsibilities

1. Driver / Clerk Supervision:


• Assist in the training of DOT truck drivers.


• Monitor and report driver performance, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with security procedures.


• Provide coaching and support to drivers to enhance their performance.

2. Fleet Maintenance Support:


• Provide on-site support to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs.


• Ensure the removal of any hindrances to ensure proper repairs.


• Collaborate with the Fleet Manager in scheduling and overseeing routine maintenance and inspections of trucks.


• Assist in coordinating repairs and servicing to minimize downtime.


• Ensure have the best price effective solution for each repair.


• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.


• Repair and verify the proper functioning of cameras and doors to prevent unauthorized usage.


• Examine all accident-involved trucks to determine the optimal repair solution and suggest improving plan to avoid future accidents.


• Ensure that preventive maintenance is conducted on schedule and follows the appropriate procedures and supports.

3. Safety and Compliance:


• Enforce safety and compliance protocols within the fleet.


• Conduct audits for safety measures, DOT compliance, and security points.


• Take corrective actions to address safety and compliance issues promptly.


• Assist in investigating and reporting any accidents or incidents promptly.


• Assist in implementing security protocols and emergency procedures.


Minimum Required Qualifications


• Three years of related work experience, including supervising personnel.


• Knowledge of DOT regulations and industry-specific safety and security procedures.


• High school diploma or GED required.


• Bachelor's degree preferred.


• Valid Driver's License.

Pay: $68,640 - $69,580 - Salary
