Summary
We are seeking a Fleet Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and management of all motorized
equipment, including forklifts, golf carts, and other powered machinery. The ideal candidate will
have a strong mechanical background in equipment or vehicle maintenance and at least three
years of supervisory or management experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is
highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all motorized equipment, ensuring
- optimal functionality and safety.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure
- equipment reliability.
- Supervise and lead a team of mechanics and technicians, providing training and guidance
- as needed.
- Manage inventory and procurement of necessary parts, tools, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Monitor and manage maintenance costs, working to improve efficiency and reduce
- expenses.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure fleet readiness aligns with operational needs.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in fleet maintenance,
- mechanical operations, or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of forklifts, golf carts, and other motorized equipment.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software or systems is a plus.
