Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance
  • A valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree
  • Current ASE certifications
  • Current CDL
  • Less-than-Truckload (LTL) experience
  • Flexible availability for various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to lead and motivate team members
  • Excellent time management abilities

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Managing the maintenance team, including hiring, mentoring, scheduling, and training.
  • Ensuring efficient maintenance of equipment, monitoring out-of-service equipment at supported service centers.
  • Facilitating the Job Selection/Shift Bid (JSP) process for shop personnel.
  • Overseeing routine maintenance functions to guarantee equipment proficiency and high productivity levels.
  • Handling shop cycle counts and inventory management.
  • Analyzing trends in parts utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring shop conditions for safety, service quality, and financial compliance.
  • Ensuring adherence to company and DOT policies at all times.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and over 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Capability to walk and stand for extended periods in potentially slippery, non-climate-controlled environments.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to bend, climb, twist, and kneel when necessary.
