What You'll Need to Succeed: - Minimum 4 years of experience in fleet maintenance
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications: - Associate's degree
- Current ASE certifications
- Current CDL
- Experience in Less-than-Truckload (LTL) operations
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent time management abilities
What You Can Expect: - Manage a talented team of employees and contingent workers, overseeing hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with leadership to maintain equipment efficiency and manage out-of-service equipment across service centers
- Facilitate the Job Selection/Shift Bid (JSP) process for shop employees
- Oversee routine maintenance to ensure optimal productivity and accuracy in work orders
- Manage cycle counts and inventory levels effectively, optimizing parts utilization and efficiency
- Ensure safety, service quality, and maintenance compliance in the shop
- Adhere to company procedures, DOT policies, and standard work instructions
Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift weights frequently up to 50 lbs, and occasionally over 75 lbs
- Willingness to work in varied weather conditions and on slippery surfaces
- Capacity to stand and walk for extended durations
- Physical agility to perform tasks including reaching, bending, climbing, and kneeling
Compensation and Benefits: - Competitive salary range: $88,696 to $110,870, depending on experience and skills
