Job Title: Flag Football Coach

Pay: Stipend based upon years of experience
Job Summary:The Flag Football Coach is responsible for leading and developing student-athletes or youth participants in a positive, safe, and competitive environment. The coach will plan and supervise practices, teach the fundamentals of flag football, promote teamwork and sportsmanship, and manage games and team logistics.
Key Responsibilities: - Organize and lead practices focused on skill development, teamwork, and understanding of flag football rules.
- Teach proper techniques in passing, catching, running plays, defense, and game strategy.
- Supervise players during practices, games, and team activities.
- Ensure a safe playing environment and administer first aid when necessary.
- Promote respect, discipline, effort, and sportsmanship among players.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents/guardians, and staff.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper care and return after use.
- Enforce league rules and organizational policies.
- Attend coaches' meetings, training, and relevant workshops as required.
Qualifications: - Prior coaching or playing experience in flag football or a related sport.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with youth of various ages and skill levels.
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or required depending on organization).
- Must pass background check and meet all child safety requirements.
Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of youth development and positive coaching principles.
- Ability to motivate and mentor athletes.
- Familiarity with league rules and game regulations for flag football.
