Job Description SummaryThe Fitness Instructor is responsible for leading movement classes at the Randall Lewis Center for Well-Being and Research. This is a non-federal work study position, but will consider those with federal work study also. Please apply.
Specific Duties - Instruct fitness and well-being classes
- Record attendance
- Provide a safe environment for participants
Minimum Qualifications - Experience instructing others in movement required. Preferably traditional group fitness and/or dance classes (i.e. yoga, pilates, dance, hip-hop, HIIT, etc)
- Yoga instructors must be certified
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer service
- Must be a ULV student
Preferred Qualifications - 1 year experience leading movement classes
- CPR/AED certified preferred but not required at hire
Benefits SummaryEmployees are eligible for the following benefits:
One hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours worked, with a maximum accrual of 24 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year and capped at 48 hours.
