Fitness Instructor

Develops and conducts fitness classes for the residents at Brookdale communities.Works with the Wellness Director to develop the curriculum and lesson plans necessary to ensure classes are delivered to address the wellness objectives of the participants.Instructs and leads fitness classes.Ensures the facilities and equipment are operating safely.Maintains a high level of sanitation.Uses spreadsheets to track participation.Ensures programs and services are being operated in accordance with Brookdale Senior Living policies and procedures as well as appropriate State and local regulations.Provides direct "hands-on" services and assistance for the participants of the fitness center.This job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position. Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team based bonus opportunities.
