We are hiring a Fitness Coordinator who will bring energy and enthusiasm to our team. The Fitness Coordinator is responsible for the development and management of fitness programs and measurement tools for seniors in the community.
Compensation: Starting at $24/hour
How you will make an impact:
- Assist Manager with daily operations of the Fitness Centers and Aquatic Center
- Scheduling appointments and performing orientations
- Ability to teach a variety of fitness classes and conduct personal training sessions as needed
- Supervise residents in fitness centers and attend to their needs in a friendly, polite, courteous, and professional manner
- Offer fitness services to a diverse range of residents, including high-risk participants, with a focus on safety and individual needs
- Assisting with the promotion, coordination, and implementation of exercise programs
- Work with manager to design and implement a variety of fitness programming tailored to residents
- Developing a network within the community and making appropriate referrals to other services
- Assist manager with billing, budgets, tracking monthly usage numbers, and statistics
- Build and develop relationships with staff from various departments and create programs campus wide
- Perform various tasks as required to support the department's success and exceed resident's expectations
- Maintain community philosophy and vision statement

What you will need:
- Associate's degree in Health Education field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a fitness environment, including hands-on training and interaction.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
- CPO certification within 60 days
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, M365, and Canva, a plus
