Job Description Summary POSITION SUMMARY:
The Fitness Attendant is responsible for the oversight of the fitness center during normal operating hours. The Fitness Attendant performs customer service duties such as answering phones and greeting guests. This position requires an American Red Cross CPR, AED and First Aid Certifications.
The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the job: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Monitors guest during normal operating hours.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the fitness center.
- Assists guests with questions on general information.
- Promotes safe practices inside the fitness center, including use of equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES - Must have good customer service skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual and able to follow through on assignments.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with faculty, staff and students.
- Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
Education and Experience EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Must be enrolled at Ringling College of Art and Design
• Must have or willing to obtain an American Red Cross CPR, AED and First Aid certifications.
