Description of Position Performs non-exempt work requiring understanding of a specific function or body of knowledge.
Clerical:
Duties require some exercise of judgment under general supervision, as well as applying skills and knowledge such as bookkeeping, cash handling, inventory, assisting faculty in preparing for classes/labs.
- Reviewing and approving established reports
- Determining garnishment amounts
- Tracking/reconciling invoices/purchase orders
Service/Technical:
Duties involve some semi-skilled labor under general supervision, which may require specialized training or license:
- Assists with maintenance related duties
- Performance hall truck loader/wardrobe technician
- Operation of common hand and power tools to complete required repairs
- Completion of work orders and related paperwork
Minimum Expectations & Requirements- Two years' experience in an office setting or completing administrative and/or service/technical duties
- Excellent customer service skills including personal and telephone
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines
- Ability to work independently under general supervision
- Regular attendance is an essential job function as it demonstrates dependability towards the performance of job duties
