Responsibilities include greeting members, managing sign-in processes, maintaining cleanliness, and engaging with children in the Kids Club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member Engagement:
Greet members in a welcoming and cheerful manner, building positive relationships. - Sign-in Process:
Assist members through the sign-in process for utilizing facility amenities. - Cleanliness and Organization:
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the fitness center and potentially the Kids Club. - Childcare (if applicable):
Supervise children in the Kids Club, engage them in activities, and ensure their safety. - Administrative Tasks:
May assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as answering the phone or registering people for training or classes. - General Assistance:
Assist with daily activities within the fitness center, pool, and youth program.
Skills and Qualities:
- Strong Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively and engage with members, guests, and children. - Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage time, multitask, and keep the fitness center and Kids Club organized. - Physical Fitness:
Ability to lift and carry equipment, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. - Customer Service Skills:
Provide excellent customer service and create a positive and welcoming atmosphere. - First Aid and Emergency Procedures:
Basic understanding of first aid and emergency procedures, especially if working with children. - Flexible Availability:
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
