Fiscal ClerkPURPOSE: Efficiently manage purchase orders and process the District's liabilities, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors.
SUPERVISOR: Treasurer
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Possess the equivalent of a high school diploma
- A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment
- Complies with the Board's drug and alcohol policies
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following essential functions represent the fundamental job duties of the employment position. If, through reasonable accommodation, a disabled person can substantially perform the essential functions of the job, such accommodation may be made.
- Reviews all purchase orders once they have been approved
- Verifies statements, invoices and process payments
- Assists the Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer and Payroll Supervisor as needed
- Oversees vendor account balances and credit
- Complies with all District policies and procedures
- Performs other functions as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS:The employee may be required to perform the essential functions of the job under the following conditions and by completing tasks of the following nature:
- Physically moving supplies and equipment
- Operating or traveling as a passenger in a motor vehicle
- Substantial amounts of paperwork and regular telephone contact
- Completing duties under strict timelines
- Exposure to risk of contact with communicable diseases and blood-borne pathogens
- Interaction with disorderly and potentially hostile students and members of the community
