Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First-Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join the Fuselage Assembly Center, based out of Everett, WA. This position is available for 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines

  • Must be capable of executing recovery plans in a complex production system

  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives

  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • 1+ years of experience leading or managing others

  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment

  • 1+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS)

  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge of tooling operation or fabrication processes

  • Project Management Experience

Shift:

Candidate may be selected for 1st 2nd or 3rd shift. Shift will be determined at the time of offer.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $116,000 - $134,000
