About the Role
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse FLM to coordinate our daily logistics requirements. The successful candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and an understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.
Responsibilities
- Assist management by monitoring warehousing activities and performance
- Supervise, implement, and coordinate productivity, ensuring deadlines are met safely and standards maintained
- Track and trace orders using digital tracking software
- Lead and motivate the team to meet or exceed business targets
- Manage KPIs
- Build and develop the team through recruitment and performance management
- Implement improvements proactively to enhance processes and team performance
Candidate Requirements
We welcome applications from candidates with the following experience, but encourage all talent and potential:
- Previous experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in logistics
- Knowledge of supply chain practices
- Experience in administrative tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Experience in preparing and distributing volume orders
- Familiarity with logistics software and WMS systems
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated employee engagement skills
