I'm partnering with an innovative and fast-growing tech company that's making serious waves in the semiconductor test space. They're on the lookout for a talented Embedded Software Engineer to help drive development of high-performance embedded systems - think hardware diagnostics, Linux kernel-level programming, and custom driver development.
If you're passionate about getting close to the metal and love solving real-world engineering problems, this role will keep you engaged and challenged.
What you'll be doing:
- Building robust embedded software for complex test systems.
- Tweaking and developing Linux device drivers.
- Working at the kernel level to optimize performance.
- Collaborating with hardware engineers to bring up systems and debug low-level issues.
- Working in a lab setting with real hardware, this is a hands-on role.
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years developing embedded Linux systems, especially driver-level work.
- Strong in C and C ; Python skills a big plus.
- Experience with Linux tools like gcc, make, gdb, git, etc.
- Experience with Buildroot or Yocto is a plus.
- Familiarity with PCIe and hands-on computer hardware experience. (Prefered)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
