Job Responsibilities
- Work with AMC contractors to carry out preventive & corrective maintenance.
- Maintain the hotel in your qualified trade to the desired standard.
- Complete work orders as requested by the Chief Engineer to meet customer requirements.
- Initiate/identify improvement work required throughout the hotel for FLS issues.
- Implement and action the preventative maintenance program.
- Demonstrate flexibility in changing the work schedule considering guest priorities.
- Perform general building minor maintenance repairs.
- Ensure plant rooms are checked, cleaned, and in operating order.
- Respond to requests from departments regarding minor maintenance issues throughout the day.
- Conduct lighting checks to ensure all globes are in working order.
- Carry out minor repairs to guest rooms or public areas.
- Liaise directly with departments regarding work order completion and prioritize based on guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
What we need from you:
- Basic knowledge of low voltage systems.
- Experience with Fire Alarm System networks/ELV systems such as EBS, PA system, CCTV, ANPR, etc.
- Experience with Fire Fighting System networks, Kitchen hood Ansul system, LPG monitoring system.
- Knowledge of Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence regulations (optional).
- At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar role within a 4 -5 property.
- Fire Life Safety Technician - Engineering qualification.
