Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer (Contractor)

Rate: 250 per day (Self-employed/Contractor)

Overview:
A highly respected provider of fire and security solutions is seeking a skilled Fire and Security Service Engineer on a contract basis to support their operations across Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced contractor with excellent industry knowledge to join a growing company and earn a competitive day rate.
Key Responsibilities:

Service, maintenance, and fault-finding on fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems

Carrying out regular inspections, testing, and servicing of fire and security systems at customer sites

Responding to emergency call-outs and providing technical support to customers

Accurate completion of service reports and records

Ensuring all work is compliant with relevant safety and quality standards

Liaising directly with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Supporting other engineers as required, including troubleshooting and providing guidance
Requirements:

Proven experience in servicing fire and security systems (CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, fire alarms, etc.)

Strong knowledge of relevant systems and manufacturers (e.g., Texecom, Galaxy, Paxton, Hikvision)

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., FIA, ECS, NSI, etc.)

Full UK driving licence

Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively

Strong customer service and communication skills
