We are seeking a diligent and experienced FinOp / Controller with a Series 27 license to join our Accounting & Finance Department. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services industry regulations and a proven track record in financial operations control.

Our client is a boutique investment bank who is a strong player in the world of M&A. The company is onsite 5 days/week.
Description
- Oversee and manage all financial operations within the company.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with FINRA and other financial services industry standards.
- Implement and maintain efficient financial control systems.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
- Oversee Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Insurance.
- Coordinate with external auditors and handle regulatory inquiries.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team.
- Foster a culture of transparency and integrity within the finance department.
- Continually assess financial risks and opportunities.

Profile
A successful FinOp/Controller should have:
- A Series 27 license and comprehensive knowledge of FINRA regulations.
- A strong background in the financial services industry.
- Advanced skills in financial analysis and reporting.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
- CPA is a plus
