Position : Credence Fine Dining Food Runner

Position Summary:
The guest experience is very important to us, and the Food Runner position is key to honoring that commitment. We are searching for career-minded hospitality professionals with exceptional drive and people skills. As a food runner at Credence, you are the connection between our guests and our kitchen through delivering our dishes to our guests. You understand the fine balance of service and help provide exceptional hospitality to our guests in a timely, courteous, efficient, organized, and accurate manner. The Food Runner will serve as a final set of eyes ensuring that all guest's plates are of top quality and to Credence's unmatched expectations. Our Food Runners serve as brand ambassadors, aligned with our passionate commitment to exceptional service and superb hospitality. They are polite and friendly to guests, and colleagues alike. They understand the importance of and embrace The LG Brand's high standards of service, presentation, and cleanliness as their own.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains high knowledge regarding company's products, availability, specials, services offered, current & upcoming events, etc.; effectively communicates such to guests
- Serves as food quality inspector to ensure final product preparations align with company standards before delivering items to guests
- Delivers food items in a timely manner to ensure optimum food temperature when it reaches the guests
- Greets guests when approaching table and accurately matches food items with the correct guests
- Communicates any relevant messages to servers and/or bartenders regarding guests' requests/needs
- Sets up and breaks down workstation in accordance with department procedures and standards
- Maintains adequate par levels of condiments, garnishes, and other related items.
- Preps condiments as needed Ensures workstation is always organized and clean
- Completes all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned
- Complies with uniform standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma preferred
- Previous experience in fine dining restaurants preferred
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Passion for culinary arts and hospitality
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices
- Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
