Financial Systems Manager Job Duties Include:
- Oversee the administration and development of cloud-based financial systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality
- Manage and optimize databases to support financial reporting and analysis
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data through robust internal controls and compliance with relevant regulations
- Develop and implement financial models, budgeting, and forecasting across the technology portfolio
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members on technical issues related to cloud-based financial systems and SQL
- Collaborate with various department leaders to understand their technology spend and optimize it based on their unique architecture and desired business outcomes
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to analyze, monitor, and report on the organization's consumption of cloud services
- Investigate cost anomalies and discrepancies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Lead the improvement and/or implementation of ERP systems to achieve optimal financial control and business insights
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- At least 6 years of experience in finance and accounting functions in a technical or accounting role in an international environment
- Proficiency in financial technology systems, ideally with exposure to SQL and experience with cloud-based financial systems
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems and cost accounting
- Demonstrated expertise in financial systems and process improvement
