We are hiring for a
Financial Systems Analyst in Arlington, VA. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS - The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Secret level.
- Experience with financial management, audit readiness, or DoD financial reporting is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and robotic process automation (RPA) tools preferred.
- Familiarity with DoD financial management, budget execution, and audit compliance tracking is a plus.
- Must possess knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of financial and budgeting operations within a federal entity.
- Knowledge and understanding of DoD (preferably Army) budget formulation processes is required.
- Strong expertise in budget formulation and execution is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in DoD financial management and audit readiness is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in compliance tracking and financial risk mitigation is highly preferred.
- Ability to analyze and enhance financial and budgeting processes.
- Ability to translate complex budget/compliance requirements into technical documentation.
- Ability to design dashboards, reports, and workflow tools to support financial operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of command, agency, and DoD (preferably Army) missions, functions, programs, and history are necessary to formulate, justify, and execute a budget to support organizational objectives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across business, IT, and financial teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and business requirements into technical solutions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four to seven (4-7) years of relevant experience in business systems analysis or as a budget analyst, preferably within federal or DoD programs, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
