We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager of Financial Reporting to oversee our clients financial reporting processes. This role is critical in ensuring financial statements comply with IFRS and GAAP standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial reporting, technical accounting, and a proven ability to collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and GAAP.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to both internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
  • Update and maintain financial reporting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with evolving accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and reviews, providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.

Technical Accounting & Analysis

  • Oversee accounting and reporting for complex areas, including revenue recognition, fair value measurement, consolidation, hedging, mark-to-market valuations, mergers and acquisitions, and share-based compensation.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, providing actionable insights to management.

Process Improvement & Internal Controls

  • Evaluate and improve financial reporting processes for efficiency, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial systems, reporting tools, processes, and quality controls.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with departments such as Treasury, General Accounting, FP&A, and Tax to ensure cohesive financial reporting and compliance.
  • Ensure consistency in accounting practices across Corporate and Business Units.
  • Provide support to the finance team on reporting standards, systems, and best practices.
  • Participate in special projects, including system implementations, M&A activities, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA required.
  • Experience 5-7 years of experience in technical financial reporting or accounting. Public accounting experience is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS. Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems (eg, SAP), with advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Soft Skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
