Job Title: Financial Reporting Analyst

Reports To: Assistant Controller
Location: San Francisco, CA
Function: The purpose of the Financial Reporting Analyst is to prepare accurate and timely internal and external financial reports. The Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support internal and external reporting requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP or other applicable standards
- Assist with the preparation and timely distribution of quarterly reporting packages to parent company
- Work with third parties to provide necessary information for tax preparation or the annual audit, when applicable
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across various reporting systems and sources
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
- Partner with accounting and IT to streamline data collection and improve financial reporting processes
- Participate in system implementations and process improvement initiatives related to financial reporting
- Ad-Hoc requests as necessary
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, or accounting.
- Understanding of fixed asset and lease accounting.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
- Possess excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced global organization subject to frequent change.
- Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
This position is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday are mandatory in-office days. The pay range for this role is $70,000 - 75,000 per year.
