While this role can have some hybrid options depending on the branch location, all candidates MUST live in the Reno, NV area.


Financial Planner Specifics:

The Financial Planner will be working alongside supporting a million-dollar producing Senior Advisor with his practice in branch to support the needs of the clients. By applying your knowledge and relationship-building skills, you'll effectively profile clients, navigate our guidance tools, and facilitate detailed discussions on planning concepts. This collaborative approach will uncover additional planning opportunities, enabling you to partner in developing comprehensive solutions. Your contributions will directly impact client satisfaction and business growth, ensuring fulfilling interactions daily.

  • In-depth understanding of financial planning concepts to craft effective strategies for clients and their families
  • Proficiency in profiling to discern planning needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to building lasting client relationships and advocating for their interests.
  • Driven by success, taking ownership of tasks, and dedicated to achieving meaningful goals.
  • Comfortable engaging in outbound telephone outreach to educate clients and identify opportunities for added value in their financial journey.

Financial Planner Qualifications:

  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 licensed; Series 65 or 66 licensed and appropriate state registrations
  • Financial services experience preferably in financial planning.
  • 2-3 years' experience managing a book of business or supporting multiple advisors with their practices or books.
  • Degree and/or other professional certifications such as CFP are helpful; if you don't already have a CFP or degree, our Tuition Reimbursement program can help you obtain one
