As Financial Manager, you'll provide strategic financial oversight and resource integration for the Air Force Protection Portfolio, ensuring alignment with DoD and Air Force resourcing priorities. This role requires a PPBE expert with 10+ years of experience in DoD and Air Force budgetary portfolios, including at least 3 years supporting AF/A4S, and a CDFM certification. The Financial Manager will coordinate across key Security Forces stakeholders-including AFIMSC, AFSFC, AFLCMC, and AFMC-to optimize funding strategies and enhance mission effectiveness. What you'll do: You will lead the review, development, and execution of resourcing strategies for the Security Forces enterprise, ensuring funding decisions support ongoing initiatives within the Protection Portfolio. You will collaborate with Program Element Monitors (PEMs) and senior stakeholders to integrate resources across multiple commands and organizations, aligning financial strategies with Air Force operational needs. You will provide expert guidance on Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes, ensuring compliance with Congressional and Legislative resourcing requirements while advocating for strategic funding decisions. What you'll need to succeed: An active Top-Secret security clearance or higher 10+ years of relevant experience supporting DoD and Air Force related budgetary portfolios (3+ years supporting AF/A4S). Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) expert with 5+ years' experience supporting Air Force program POM planning and development. CDFM required. Knowledge and experience collaborating with stakeholders and Program Element Monitors (PEM) supporting the Protection Portfolio and other programs aligned to the Security Force Enterprise and mission. Knowledge and experience required of Air Force resourcing requirements and alignment with Congressional and Legislative affairs. Like we said, we are big fans of our people.
