The Financial Manager will be the backbone of financial planning, responsible for the analysis and interpretation of financial information, and along the accounting team will provide strategic insights to top management in the retail sector. They will also supervise all financial accounting operations in the company.

Description
- Manage the preparation of the company's budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
- Lead the accounting team
- Work with the plant operations
- Supervise the production of regular financial reports; monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, and maintaining compliance.
- Establish and manage financial policies and procedures for the organization.
- Work with senior teams to grow the business, formulating strategies and plans.
- Ensure corporate budgeting processes are carried out and reviewed.
- Oversee all audit and internal control operations.
- Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information.

Profile
A successful Financial Manager should have:
- A strong understanding of financial trends and US GAAP
- Manufacturing/plant experience.
- Proficient user of finance software.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, leadership
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
