Overview Nakupuna Prime is looking for a Financial Management Analyst to support a Navy customer . The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter with significant DoD fina ncial management exp erience in support of high-level officials, to include in-depth familiarity with the PPBE process . Responsibilities The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Provide, monitor and coordinate input for the development of Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for development and the submittal of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM). Provide programmatic support for the development of programs during the PPBE process. Analyze financial information in program planning documentation. Support the government in the preparation of bud get formulation documentation in support of OSD and C ongressional bud get process to include the following: bud get exhibit construction including draft and edit of R-Docs and P-Docs; development and maintenance of hardware and software deliveries matrices; and maintain the programmatic Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Provide budget execution support in the preparation of various funding documents (e.g., WX/WR, MIPR, PR, FADS, etc.) as provided by the Government, using approved financial management systems (e.g., AUTODOC, PRISMS, SABRS, FASTDATA SARMIS, CFMS, ERP, SMARTS and PRBUILDER). Review bud get estimates and reports to develop bud get ary forecasts for long range funding for government approval. P rovide recommendations to justify and defend the bud get during the required bud get submission process. Utilize the Department of Navy ( DON ) Program Bud get Information System (PBIS) to perform tasks, conduct analysis, and provide reports. Provide executive-level assistance in program planning, scheduling, and document development , to include preparation of point and talking papers, executive summaries and executive correspondence for Department senior leaders. Use standard formats and guidelines to draft and prepare official documents and communications . Qualifications Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate is familiar and has experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities: Experience in defense financial management and bud get . Working knowledge of the DoD Financial Management Regulations. Certified Defense Financial Manager certification and/or Certified Government Financial Manager certification is preferred. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and self-monitoring, exceptional oral and written communications, and ability to multi-task. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience editing technical documents to ensure proper format, grammar, and style. Highly p roficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Education and Experience: This position requires a bachelor's degree and four years of financial management experience, to include knowledge of PPBE and preparation of bud get formulation documents . Department of Navy experience strong ly preferred. C learance: Active Secret. Must be a U.S. citizen. Location: Work is performed on-site at the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation: Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers. Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations. Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
